A recent $17.8 million renovation of the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA, included the eye-catching installation of static blue RibbonLyte from Acolyte to highlight the aquarium’s shark wall exhibit. Life-size cutout panels depicting sharks of various species were backlit and silhouetted with customized static blue LED fixtures to create a man-eating montage. The static blue RibbonLyte accentuated the silvery-grey sharks, adding vibrancy and dimension to a display that invoked the depths of the ocean.
