The Wharney Guang Dong Hotel

The Wharney Guang Dong Hotel is a 326-room 4-star hotel located close to major shopping areas in the business district of Hong Kong. When they wanted to replace their old exterior fixtures, the hotel approached New Progress Construction Co Ltd. for a new installation, and the Acolyte design team met with New Progress to propose a lighting solution — our IA 4.4 RibbonLyte with 10 pixels per meter, set in AT2 aluminum channel with waterproof wires and connectors and a control system. We set up a 2-meter sample and, upon approval from the chief engineer of Wharney Guang Dong Hotel, five 60-meter custom fixtures that run up and down the facade of the hotel were completed and installed in March 2017.
