This position is responsible for creating sales opportunities and win business from targeted sign companies, display manufactures, specialized distributors, etc. This will require daily exchange with the company’s customer base to increase product awareness, as well as build rapport with the distributors’ sales teams. The Quality Specialist (QC) position which is based in New Jersey reports to the Business General Manager. The QC Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products and services coming from GENLED Acolyte maintain the highest level of quality.
Specific responsibilities include:
Implementing factory floor quality procedures, standards and specifications for products in Architecture
Reviewing product specifications related to sourcing and manufacturing in China, and developing incoming inspection plans with Quality Engineering in China
Working with the purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from suppliers
Carrying out inspection of materials and products and tracking performance
Monitoring suppliers’ and manufacturers’ performance by gathering and analyzing appropriate data and producing statistical reports
