GENLED AgiLight® puts safety first, skips ISA show
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Due to concerns about the growing spread of the coronavirus, GENLED AgiLight® has decided to put the health and safety of its employees first and pull out of the upcoming ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, FL.
This decision was not made lightly, as the ISA show is the nation’s largest signage expo and GENLED AgiLight® has had a large presence there for more than 16 years.
“Safety has to come first for our employees. We would be happy to set up individual trainings or sales meetings as requested by our customers,” said Scott Vontobel, director of global sales for GENLED Brands™.
The highly contagious COVID-19 coronavirus has already caused major trade show cancellations in our industry, most notably the Light + Building trade fair in Frankfurt, which has been rescheduled for the fall. Several other large trade shows have been cancelled or postponed around the world, including South by Southwest in Austin, TX; the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona; the London Book Fair; Miami’s Ultra Music Festival; HIMSS, a major healthcare IT conference in Orlando; Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle; Black Hat Asia in Singapore; the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco; the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland; Baselworld, the watch industry’s largest annual trade show, in Switzerland; the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA.; the International Housewares Association’s Inspired Home Show in Chicago; as well as major events for tech companies like IBM, Oracle, Facebook and Google.
GENLED AgiLight® is the preferred LED lighting partner of sign companies and major brands around the world.
